Took my 2003 Mini-Cooper S in to check on an intermittent metallic scraping sound on my front left wheel. I suspected the brakes were worn out, but Ellio's informed me that my brakes were fine. They checked the brakes all around, and took the car on several test checks to try to replicate the noise. Never found the source of the noise, but we suspect a piece of debris got lodged between the rotor and the dust shield. They charged me $62.50 for the brake check, and did a free visual inspection of the car. They did not make any money from me today, but they earned my trust. I am saving the five star rating for the day they actually get to repair something. I will be back.
